      How to use the Current Conditions – Capital City

      1. The Current Conditions page (also known as the Temperature page) shows a map with the HIGH and LOW temperatures for each capital city.  Click at a capital city to view more details.
      2. The next screen will show you weather information about the capital city. Refer to How to use the Local Weather page for instructions.

      How to use the Current Conditions - Local Weather Search

      1. The Current Conditions page (also known as the Temperature page) shows a map with the HIGH and LOW temperatures for each capital city.  If you would like to view weather information about a capital city, refer to How to use the Current Conditions – Capital City.
      2. To search for other locations, enter the suburb, town or post code into the box labelled Local Weather (this can be found near the top right corner of the Current Conditions map).
      3. Click the GO button to proceed.
      4. a) The next screen will display the results from the search. If you entered a post code or suburb/town name that is found at multiple locations, the results will ask you to select from a list of locations.
        b) If you receive a message: No location was found, please check your spelling of the word(s).
      5. The next screen will show you weather information about the capital city. Refer to How to use the Local Weather page for instructions.

      How to use Current Conditions - Navigate by State and District

      1. The Current Conditions page (also known as the Temperature page) shows a map with the HIGH and LOW temperatures for each capital city. You can click onto a state on the map to view weather information or click a link to a state found below the heading " Navigate by State ".
      2. The next screen will display a map of the state you have selected. This state map will show the HIGH and LOW temperatures for each main town and city within the state.
      3. You may navigate to one of the districts within the state or click a link to a town/city for local weather information. Refer to How to use the Local Weather page for instructions.
      4. If you would like to navigate to a district, click onto a district that appears on the state map or click a link to a district found below the heading " Navigate by District ".
      5. The next screen will display a map of the district you have selected. This state map will show the HIGH and LOW temperatures for each main town and city within the district.
      6. You can view local weather information by clicking onto a town/city. Refer to How to use the Local Weather page for instructions.

      How to use the Local Weather page

      1. The Local Weather page is available by searching using the Local Weather search box or clicking the capital cities on the Current Conditions map.
      2. The page will provide you with the following information:
        - 7 day forecast
        - weather summary
        - current warnings
        - rainfall summary
        - sun and moon times
        - weather almanac
      3. Located in the first row of the Forecast table is a link " more detail ". Click more detail to display more weather information on your screen. You will receive more information about change of rain, wind direction, wind speed and humidity.
      4. Located in the first row of the Weather Alamanac table is a link " full climatology ". Click full climatology to display more weather information on your screen. You will receive more information about long-term averages, daily records, monthly records and annual temperature & rainfall.
